The Thames

Rising in Gloucestershire our capitol river the Thames is one of the most picturesque in the whole of England and provides some excellent sport for anglers all year round. There are but two weeks in the spring when fishing is unavailable on the Thames for on 1st April the season for Thames Trout opens. Harking back to its Victorian and Edwardian heyday the angler can still fish for this elusive but majestic prize, the cream of it, of course, being from a boat, . However, more usual coarse fishing from The Glorious 16th June onwards is the mainstay of Thames fishing. Having caught his very first fish as a boy of 6 from the Thames, Steve has a deep passion and understanding of this lovely river, and is proud to carry on the tradition of the Thames Professional fisherman providing an invaluable and rare service to his many clients.
